Project Hard Hat was founded in 2003 with the basic principles of a 501c3 Non-Profit organization that promotes the practice of safer sex among gay and bisexual men by way of providing educational information, S.T.D. testing information and locations, support group information and by distributing condoms free of charge to dispensers within bars, night clubs and other venues which cater to our target population. We have grown to 20 locations and throughout the "Valley of the Sun" and Las Vegas, NV. For twenty years we have stuck to our mission and have been able to do all of this to our community 100% free.

I am happy to announce we will be joining as a Program of Queer Center in Phoenix where we will be able to make more of an impact along with more resources available to our community.

Vision - We connect the queer community in Arizona and beyond, centralizing resources, generating opportunities, and through programming and creating connections, Queer community thrives, live authentic self (best version), has resources they need to thrive, support, unaffected by stigma (live and love stigma free), healthy, happy, emotional/physical health, wellness, empowered, autonomy, expression, freedom, connection, compassionate/understanding, honest, lived experience, making space, amplify voices, meeting people where they are. Creating a space for self-actualization, that encourages people to self-actualize, and create a world where they can live authentically. We envision a world of true freedom through self-actualization, where everyone has safe access to the support needed to live authentically and reach their fullest potential
